FixKeep Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
Overview
FixKeep is an offline-first Android app for saving warranty records, receipt photos, PDF documents, repair history, service reminders, digital subscription records, and an optional local profile photo. This release is designed to keep your saved records on your device unless you choose to export a backup file or Android backup/device transfer is enabled by the device owner.
Data you save in the app
- Item names, brands, categories, and model details
- Purchase dates, sellers, prices, and notes
- Warranty lengths and expiry dates
- Repair history, technician notes, and parts replaced
- Reminder schedules and custom reminder messages
- Receipt photos, document images, and PDF files you choose to attach
- Digital subscription tracker entries you choose to create, such as service name, billing cycle, renewal date, amount, account email, payment method, and notes
- Local profile name, optional profile photo, and app lock settings, if you choose to use those features
How FixKeep uses your data
FixKeep uses your saved information to display your records in the app, show your local profile, create on-device reminders for warranty or service dates, build manual backup files when requested, and manage local free or premium feature access.
Data sharing and network use
This release does not require a FixKeep account, does not include FixKeep cloud sync, and does not send your saved warranty records to a developer-operated backend. Google Play Billing is used for premium subscriptions. Google Play Integrity may be configured in release builds for app security signals, but integrity setup does not upload your saved item content.
Advertising
This launch release does not display ads and does not include an advertising SDK. If advertising is introduced in a future release, this policy and the Google Play listing will be updated before that release is distributed.
Backup and retention
You can export a manual FixKeep backup file. Backup files may include your saved records, attached receipt/document files, and local profile photo if you added one, so store them somewhere private. You can later import a backup file to restore app data after reinstalling FixKeep. If Android device backup or device transfer is enabled on your device, app data may also be included in that system-managed process. You can delete records inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local app sandbox data from the device.
Security
FixKeep relies on Android app sandboxing, local device storage protections, and optional Google Play Integrity configuration for release hardening. Integrity checks do not replace server-side verification for paid or security-sensitive features.
